BIOL 3373 - Methods in Aquatic Ecology2 Class Hours 2 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in BIOL 2107 and BIOL 2108. This course provides students experience in design and execution of studies in aquatic ecology. Students will obtain hands-on experience with field and lab techniques used in aquatic research, including drainage basin assessments, assessment of lake and stream habitat and water quality, wetlands delineation, sampling techniques for fish and aquatic invertebrates, and techniques used in aquatic toxicology. Field experiences during regularly scheduled class periods are an integral part of the course.
