BIOL 2107 - Biological Principles I3 Class Hours 3 Laboratory Hours 4 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in CHEM 1211/1211L. This course introduces students to molecular and cellular concepts in biology. Topics covered include biochemistry, cell structure and function, enzymology, metabolism and molecular and population genetics. In the laboratory, students will use techniques such as spectrophotometry, microscopy, centrifugation, and other separation techniques to study the molecular components and function of cells.
