CHEM 2800 - Quantitative Analytical Chemistry3 Class Hours 0 Laboratory Hours 3 Credit Hours Prerequisite: A grade of “C” or better in both CHEM 1212 and MATH 1190. Corequisite: CHEM 2800L. Introduction to statistics. The use of spread-sheets. Principles of gravimetric and volumetric analysis. Concepts of chemical equilibria as applied to acid-base, precipitation, and complex ion reactions. Electrochemistry and potentiometry. Ultraviolet - visible spectroscopy.
